I used to make my own shirts back in the day using a Speedball kit for myself, family and friends about Khmer things. Using inspiration from things around me growing up, I made these shirts because I felt proud of who I am and where I came from. When I went to study in Cambodia, I learned more about where my parents came from, my language, my shared history and heritage.

I now am making shirts because its my hobby and I want to share a Khmer story with every shirt I make. If you like one of my designs, or have an idea of your own that you want to work on, send me an message and let's get printing and pressing! No one was around to help me learn how to make shirts growing up, so I guess that is a role I can fulfill now.

Thank you!

what I do

I used to use a paint brush, copy paper, and screen filler back when I first started but now I am trying new things to tell the new stories

Screened

I still do silk-screening, meaning running paint through a screen to press an image. For this process the paint sticks to the shirt and feels nice but it is time consuming and only reserved if requested. Although I like one-color screens, I had done multicolored screenings as well.

Pressed

I also press vinyl or plastiol ink for orders. I did not use vinyl at first because I did not know much about it but now I use them for promotion and proofing. I will use vinyl for one-offs shirts special orders and apply what works best for the order. I use plastiol ink for big orders, with my designs sent to a maker for the ink and then me pressing the shirt.

Sublimated

I love sublimation as I like the light shirt feel and the flexibility of the ink. However, to keep in my style and signature, I only press onto white due to the limitations of sublimation. This process dyes the ink into the fabric and makes it feel nature. I am able to do one-offs with a quick turn with this process and for large orders with full colors on white.

How to order a shirt or an idea you want to try out!

I am local in Philly and will get a shirt out to you in person. I am not currently set-up outside of Philly but if you really want a shirt of mines, I will find a way to get it to you.

If want one of my shirts, check out my shirts page and select a shirt, size, and color. I'll do my best to size the image to get it right.

If you have an idea or something else on your mind, send me a message on my contact page. I promise to get to you!

all my designs are original and imagining by my team and me. I reviewed and selected each fabric to make sure each shirt feels premium and that it will look great on you! that is my promise of quality.
